Have you translated Christian books and Christian materials into
Malay before? I'm looking for a Christian Malay Translator to
help with a large project for a client.

Do you work with a CAT / TRADOS Tool? There are a lot of
repetitions and having a program to build and reference a
Translation Memory would be very helpful.

Do you work with a colleague who will proofread and edit your
translation?

I'm putting together a quote for a large Christian organization in
the United States. They have a 100 page children's book which
teaches children about the Bible. Then, there is a 133 page
teacher's book to help guide the children through the series of
lessons. Together, there are about 35,000 words to translate into
Malay. They want to start very soon and hope to have it completed
in about 4-5 weeks.

About 7,500 words are repetitions. You need to have TRADOS or
another CAT software which will accept either Word or IDML
(InDesign) files. The client has taken the text and put it into
Word files in two columns. Column 1 has the English. Column 2
will have the translation.
